Privacy policy

In this policy we explain what personal data we process, for what purpose, how long we keep it, to whom we provide it and what rights you have. We process data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

For what purposes we process data

Insurance quotes and offers

If you calculate insurance on the website or request an offer, we process your contact details (name, e-mail, telephone, and where applicable company name and address) and the data about the subject of insurance that you enter. We need the data to prepare the offer and to negotiate the conclusion of a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Insurance intermediation and insured events

When intermediating and administering insurance contracts and handling insured events, we process the data necessary for performance of the contract and for compliance with the statutory obligations of an independent financial agent (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR), in particular under Act No. 186/2009 Coll. on Financial Intermediation and Financial Advisory.

Contact form, loss reports and feedback

We use the data you fill in on a form (name, contact, message text and, where applicable, loss details) to deal with your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR - our legitimate interest in answering questions and dealing with feedback).

If you have subscribed to receive news, we process your e-mail, where applicable your name and the categories you chose, and a record of consent (time, wording of the consent and IP address). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the link in the footer of every e-mail or by e-mail to info@agropoistenie.sk.

For newsletters sent, we evaluate whether the e-mail was delivered, opened and which links you clicked, so that we can send more useful content. We measure opening using a small image that loads when the e-mail is displayed.

After you unsubscribe, we remove your data from the mailing list. So that we do not write to you again by mistake, we keep only a one-way encrypted (hashed) record of the e-mail address marked “unsubscribed”.

Event registration

When you register for our events, we process:

first name, surname, e-mail, telephone, company (optional) and your note,
answers to additional questions about the event, if they are part of the form (e.g. choice of meals), including data concerning health if you provide it (see below),
the first name and surname of an accompanying person, if you register one, and where applicable their e-mail,
accommodation data (assigned room and bed, position in the accommodation queue),
registration status, confirmation of entry at the event (check-in) and the history of e-mails we have sent you about the event,
for an invitation, also whether it was opened and whether you clicked the personal link,
a record of consent (time, wording of the consent and IP address).

We use the data to organise the event: registration, invitations, confirmations and reminders, tickets with a QR code, accommodation, entry control and communication with you about the event. The legal basis is your consent, which you give at registration (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with the person responsible for the event (their contact is in every e-mail about the event) or at info@agropoistenie.sk. Withdrawing consent means cancelling the registration.

If you register an accompanying person, please inform them that you are providing us with their data and about this policy.

The QR code on the ticket contains only a random code, not your personal data. Guest data can be seen only by authorised employees and collaborators who organise the event.

Data concerning health

When registering for an event you may voluntarily provide information related to your health, for example allergies, food intolerances, dietary restrictions or the need for barrier-free access. This is a special category of personal data. We process it only if you provide it to us yourself, on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give at registration (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

We use this data exclusively to ensure suitable meals, accommodation or assistance for you at the event. To the necessary extent (without any further data that is not needed for this), we may pass it to the catering provider or the accommodation facility. Providing this data is not mandatory; if you do not provide it, we cannot take your needs into account. You can withdraw your consent at any time with the person responsible for the event or at info@agropoistenie.sk.

Photography and filming at events

Photographs and video are taken at our events. We use the footage to inform about the event and to promote our activities, in particular on the agropoistenie.sk website, on our social networks, in the newsletter and in printed materials.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in informing about our events and promoting our activities (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We take care that the footage does not needlessly interfere with participants' privacy: we give preference to general shots of the course of the event and we do not publish footage that would be inappropriate or degrading for the persons captured. We draw attention to photography and filming in the event registration form.

You have the right to object to the processing. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please say so at the entrance, to the photographer or to the person responsible for the event, and we will respect that. If you find yourself in published footage and do not agree with its use, write to us at info@agropoistenie.sk and we will remove or edit the footage.

Website security

To protect forms against misuse we briefly record the IP address and time of submission (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest in the security of the website). We automatically delete submission counters after one day and technical records (logs) on an ongoing basis, usually within one month.

How long we keep data

Offers, forms and feedback: for the time necessary to deal with the request and then during the periods imposed on us by legal regulations or during which we may assert or defend legal claims.
Contractual documentation of financial intermediation: for the period laid down by the Act on Financial Intermediation.
Newsletter: until consent is withdrawn (unsubscription), then only an encrypted record of the address, as stated above.
Events: 5 years after the end of the event, after which we anonymise guest data, including data concerning health. We keep only anonymous statistics (e.g. numbers of guests).
Photographs and video recordings from events: for as long as we use them to inform about our activities, or until your request for removal.

To whom we provide data

We do not sell personal data. We provide it only to the necessary extent:

to insurers with whom we negotiate insurance for you or handle an insured event,
to WebSupport s.r.o. - hosting of the website, database and e-mail mailboxes,
to Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL - sending the newsletter (Amazon SES service, data centre in Frankfurt, EU),
to the accommodation facility, the catering provider or event partners, if this is necessary to arrange accommodation or meals (only the necessary data, and for health data only what is needed to prepare meals or provide assistance),
to public authorities, where required by law.

Analytical and marketing tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics) run on the website only with your cookie consent. Details are in the cookie policy.

Your rights

You have the right to:

access your data and obtain a copy of it,
rectification of incorrect data,
erasure of data, if we no longer need it or you have withdrawn consent,
restriction of processing,
data portability,
object to processing based on legitimate interest,
withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

Send requests to info@agropoistenie.sk. We will deal with them without undue delay, at the latest within one month.

If you believe that we are infringing regulations by processing, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
